ABOUT JANE

Jane Katz is a lifelong New Yorker who earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. Jane moved to Manhattan in the 1980's and embarked on sales career in publishing where she sold hundreds of millions of dollars of advertising space and event sponsorships to Fortune 500 and luxury goods companies while representing titles including Harper's Bazaar, Playbill and Interview, where she was Associate Publisher. To the benefit of her real estate buyers and sellers, Jane draws upon her strong communication and negotiation skills, intelligence, work ethic and deep commitment to serving clients. Real Estate sales runs in Jane’s blood and her father and mentor was a real estate developer who developed Rio Rancho, New Mexico, transforming several barren ranches into the state's third largest city.

Jane has an in depth knowledge of all of NYC’s neighborhoods offering a unique perspective, having lived in various neighborhoods including the West Village, Tudor City, the Upper West Side and the Upper East Side, and experienced NYC as a single person, a married person and a parent raising children in Manhattan. Jane confidently navigates every part of the city, including the Upper East Side and Carnegie Hill—the neighborhoods she has called home for three decades and now uses as her home base to assist clients throughout NYC.

In her free time, Jane serves as President of the Women's Division of her synagogue, is an active alum with her alma mater University of Pennsylvania. Jane also loves to stay active with her children’s school, travel with her husband and sons, and entertain friends and family with creative dinners and holiday meals. She also has a deep appreciation for interior design, architecture and fashion.
